- Coastal Navigation
- Anchoring Your Boat
- Safety at Sea
- Barefoot Chartering
- Becoming a Sailing Instructor
Initially, members will not be required to possess any sailing certifications. However, all members (with or without certifications) for Sailing 101 will be required to take a Basic Operations & Safety Course with Windseeker Sailing Club staff.
Once you have completed the course, you will then take an “On the Water” test with a staff member. Upon passing, you will be allowed to take out boats up to 23ft (unless you are already certified for larger boats).
All members will be required to present (or attain) basic sailing certifications within 8 months of the launch of the club. Members will be able to take the necessary courses offered through the club, or from any accredited sailing school in the United States.
